THE INViSIBLE NEEDLE, manufactured by TSK Laboratory, is said to be the first needle of its kind and the thinnest needle available to date.
Technological advancements have made it possible to make the needle 33% thinner than the needle used in insulin syringes (30G) – usually used for botulinum toxin injection, and 14% thinner than the 33G needles currently used at Mr Humzah’s practice, the AMP Clinic. Mr Humzah said, “The extremely thin diameter of THE INViSIBLE NEEDLE results in a nearly painless experience for patients and is ideal for botulinum toxin injections. One of the biggest fears patients have when it comes to having these injections is a painful needle injection, but THE INViSIBLE NEEDLE may relieve this fear and greatly improve the overall patient experience.” The needle was launched on January 28 at the International Master Course on Aging Science (IMCAS) in Paris, which was attended by Mr Humzah and Baker, who shared their experience of using the needle with delegates.
