The city of Nyon lies approximately halfway between Lausanne and Geneva, on the shores of Lake Geneva. It is known for its festivals, rich history, and business tourism.
Founded by the Romans during the reign of Julius Caesar (between 46 and 44 BC), Nyon became one of the most significant Roman colonies in Switzerland, with a forum, basilica, and amphitheater, the latter discovered as recently as 1996.
The city is home to several cultural landmarks of national significance, including the Colonia Iulia Equestris, the Roman Museum, the Reformed Church of Notre-Dame, a historic manor on Rue Maupertuis, and Nyon Castle, which houses the town’s historical and porcelain museum.
Thanks to the Nyon–St-Cergue–La Cure railway, the city offers direct access to the countryside and mountains, ideal for nature getaways.
Our clinic is located in the newly developed Petite Prairie neighborhood, offering quick and easy access from the highway.
